Position Overview:

This part-time position is responsible for selling admission tickets to the general public and assisting guests at the Will-Call window for the American Airlines Center box office.


  • Sells admission tickets from an automated ticketing system

  • Accepts payment and makes change before giving tickets to the guest

  • Answers questions concerning events, tickets, schedules, and gives information concerning coming attractions

  • Hands out Will-Call tickets after verifying the guests photo identification

  • Balances cash and receipt drawer with manager at the end of each shift

  • Answers telephone as needed

  • Provides courteous and professional customer service

  • Other duties may be assigned

Education / Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED and 6 months work related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; Ticketmaster knowledge is preferred but not required

  • Bilingual is a plus

  • Must be customer-service oriented, have a fan-friendly attitude and a professional appearance at all times

  • Must be able to speak well to customers and other employees

  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Physical Demands / Work Environment 

  • Requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear, use hands to reach and handle tickets and receipts 

  • Position requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud

  • Employees must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
